Glendale Adventist Academy (GAA) hosted its second Library Sessions event, a student-led benefit concert, which showcased the talents of GAA students and alumni. The Hernan & Orfi Barros Library was transformed with twinkling lights, the mood was set, and there was a low buzz of excitement among attendees as they gathered to support the student-led jazz concert in January.

Last year was the first Library Sessions, a creative way to raise funds for new lighting and sound in the chapel. After two years of this event, more than $21,000 has been raised toward the $30,000 goal. Additional fundraisers scheduled to take place this year are the Cougar Pride Golf Tournament on April 26 and band and chorale concerts this spring.

To donate, checks can be written to GAA, memo: sound and lighting.
